Welcome to DRIVN. By accessing or using the DRIVN website, mobile application, or related services (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

These Terms govern your use of DRIVN and all related services, including community features, rides, events, groups, chats, media sharing, leaderboards, subscriptions, and ticketing systems.

1. About DRIVN

DRIVN is a community platform for car enthusiasts focused on crews, meets, rides, navigation, events, media sharing, and community interaction. The Platform may include:

User and vehicle profiles
Community groups (“Crews”)
Event organization and ticketing
Ride tracking and navigation
Live location sharing
Messaging and media uploads
Subscription and paid features
Leaderboards and challenges

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use DRIVN. If local law requires a higher minimum age for digital services, you must meet that requirement.

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

You have legal capacity to accept these Terms
All information you provide is accurate
You will comply with applicable laws and traffic regulations

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, keeping your login credentials confidential, and all activity performed under your account.

You agree not to impersonate another person, create fake or misleading accounts, attempt unauthorized access to the Platform, or abuse or manipulate rankings, challenges, or scoring systems.

DRIVN may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Community Conduct

DRIVN exists to support real-world car culture and community experiences. You agree not to post illegal, harmful, hateful, or abusive content, promote dangerous or reckless driving, organize illegal street racing activities, harass or threaten other users, upload malicious software or spam, or violate intellectual property rights.

DRIVN reserves the right to remove content, events, groups, or accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Driving & Safety Disclaimer

DRIVN is a social and community platform only. DRIVN does not organize or supervise rides, guarantee driver behavior, verify road safety conditions, or assume responsibility for traffic violations, accidents, injuries, or damages.

Users are solely responsible for their driving behavior, compliance with traffic laws, vehicle condition and insurance, and personal safety decisions.

Never use the Platform in a way that distracts you while driving.

6. Events & Ticketing

DRIVN may allow organizers to create and manage events, including ticket sales and QR-based check-ins. Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe). Event organizers are responsible for their events. DRIVN acts only as a platform provider unless explicitly stated otherwise.

7. Paid Features & Subscriptions

Certain features may require payment, including premium memberships, crew subscriptions, boosted placements, event tools, and ticketing services. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

8. Location & Live Features

Some Platform features use real-time location services, including ride tracking, navigation, crew maps, nearby ride discovery, and live event participation. Location sharing is optional and privacy-focused by design.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant DRIVN a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, distribute, and promote content within the Platform.

10. Intellectual Property

All DRIVN branding, software, UI, systems, logos, and platform content are owned by DRIVN or its licensors.

11. Availability & Changes

We may modify features, restrict access, remove content, perform maintenance, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

12. Third-Party Services

DRIVN may integrate third-party services, including Spotify, Mapbox, Google Maps, Stripe, and Firebase.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DRIVN shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or data, user disputes, driving incidents, event-related damages, or service interruptions. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, your conduct creates risk for the community, or it is required by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Slovakia and applicable European Union regulations.

Account Data: Name or username, email address, profile photo, password (encrypted).

Vehicle & Profile Data: Car information, crew memberships, ride statistics, public profile content.

Location Data: Real-time location during rides/events, route history, GPS tracking data. Location sharing is optional.

Media & Content: Uploaded photos/videos, messages and comments, ride recaps, event content.

Technical Data: Device information, IP address, app version, crash logs, analytics data.

Payment Data: Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. DRIVN does not store full payment card details.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data under GDPR based on contract performance, legitimate interests, user consent, and legal obligations.

4. How We Use Data

We use data to operate the Platform, enable rides and navigation, provide social/community features, process ticket purchases, improve security and moderation, send notifications, prevent abuse and cheating, and improve the service.

5. Location & Ride Data

Ride and location data may be processed to provide live rides, crew maps, route generation, ride recaps, and navigation services. DRIVN follows a privacy-first location architecture. You can revoke location permissions at any time.

6. Data Sharing

We may share data with hosting providers, analytics providers, payment processors, mapping providers, and push notification providers. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for providing services, legal compliance, security and fraud prevention, and community integrity. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data.

8. Your GDPR Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete your data, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent.
